SU Ag Center joins forces with FEMA for Volunteer Training
Workshop
The Southern University Ag Center and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is
holding a volunteer training workshop for community organizations that would like to assist
victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. This workshop will assist in training organizations
to assist affected constituents with registering for FEMA assistance, submitting an SBA Loan
Application, filing insurance claims, writing and submitting appeals and plans for housing.
The Volunteer Training Workshop will be held Friday, January 13, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Southern University Ag Center (A.O. Williams Hall Rm. 191).
