SU Ag Center to hold the 62nd Annual Livestock and
Poultry Show
The Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center will hold the 62nd Annual
Livestock and Poultry Show March 3-5, at the Maurice A. Edmond Livestock Show Arena. The
Livestock arena is located on Highway 61N, next to Jetson Correctional Facility.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for the citizens and youth of
Louisiana, to exhibit their prize livestock, and develop responsibility and leadership skills.
"We look forward to this show annually and this year we have barnyard displays, puppet shows,
and awards program designed especially for youth participants," says Livestock Show Director,
James Archie.
On Saturday, March 5, at 9:00 a.m. an awards ceremony will be held to honor
