Extension Program brings Parenting Full Circle
WHITE CASTLE—White Castle High School has been selected as a fall location for the Southern University Agricultural
Research and Extension Center’s Full Circle Parenting Program. This six week program provides comprehensive and
culturally sensitive parenting curriculums that teach effective parenting strategies to strengthen the family.
"Parent educators from the SU Ag Center will teach parents how to adopt family-strengthening practices
to meet their family needs, while improving decision-making skills and learning practices that create a safe and nurturing
environment for children," says Kashundra Cyrus, Ph.D., assistant specialist, family and consumer sciences at the Ag Center.
"By reaching mothers, fathers, and grandparents, individually, we can bring parenting full circle."
