College of Ag student Bryman Williams, Jr. sworn in as the SU System Student Board Member

Baton Rouge, La. - Southern University College of Agricultural, Human and Environmental Sciences (CAHES) senior agricultural business major, Bryman Williams, Jr., was sworn in as the student board member of the Southern University Board of Supervisors on August 21, 2026.
The Madison, MS native is the Student Government Association President for the Baton Rouge campus. Prior to being elected as SGA President, Williams served as the SGA Vice President, Sophomore Class President, and Freshmen Class President.
Williams is a member of MANRRS and a CAHES Beginning Agricultural Youth Opportunities Unlimited (BAYOU) Program participant.
He will serve a one-year term on the board.
