EMERGENCY: The SU Ag Center will operate remotely on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.

Baton Rouge, La. - As repairs continue following a power outage affecting the Southern University Baton Rouge landmass, the following schedules will be in effect for Tuesday, September 8:

SU Ag Center: Employees will work remotely.

Southern University Baton Rouge (SUBR): Classes are canceled.Employees will work remotely.

Southern University Law Center (SULC): Classes and operations will be conducted remotely.

Southern University Laboratory School: Classes are canceled.

Crews continue to work to restore full and reliable power to the affected areas. For safety, please avoid areas where repair crews, generators and electrical equipment are operating and follow all instructions from University officials and emergency personnel.
