JagFresh Farmers Market set to open Sept. 24, 2026

Baton Rouge, La. – The Southern University Ag Center’s JagFresh Farmers Market will open for the fall season on the Southern University campus.

The farmers market will feature nearly 30 vendors selling fresh produce, crafts, baked goods, plants and herbs, honey, and local products. Healthy living information will also be provided by the 1890 Center of Excellence.

It is open to Southern University faculty, staff, students, and the Baton Rouge community.

The market will be held from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. outside the Southern University Smith-Brown Memorial Union on the following dates:

·      September 24, 2026

·      October 8, 2026

·      October 22, 2026

·      November 5, 2026

·      November 19, 2026

·      December 3, 2026
