SU Ag Center set to host 3rd Annual Calf Roping on the Bluff

Baton Rouge, La. – TheSouthern University Ag Center will host its 3^rd Annual Calf Roping on the Bluff on September 28, 2025 at the Maurice A. Edmond Livestock Arena, 14600 Scenic Hwy, in Baton Rouge 70807. Books will open at 9 a.m. and roping will begin at 10 a.m.

Order of Events:

•           Open Breakaway (2 for $150) Enter twice: $250 added

•           Junior Breakaway (2 for $120) Enter twice: $250 added

•           Open Tie Down (2 and a short $250) $1,000 added

•           Double 00 Tie Down (2 and a short $200) $750 added

•           Triple 000 Calf Roping (2 for $150) Enter twice: $250 added

The price for ages 12 & under to enter is $5, and $10 for adults.

Prizes will be awarded to all average winners.

Stalls will be available from September 25 – 28, 2025 for a fee of $40.

Vendor booths will be available for $150.
