SU Ag Center set to host its Annual Fall Garden Workshop






Baton Rouge, La. – The Southern University Ag Center will host its Annual Fall Garden Workshop on November 25, 2025 at the M. A. Edmond Livestock Arena’s Multi-Purpose Building,14600 Scenic Hwy., in Baton Rouge from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
This year's workshop is themed, “Rooted in Fall” and will highlight fruit tree grafting, DIY fall décor, winterizing your garden, and foraging.
"Remembering our connection to the land will gave us greater physical and mental health,” said Stephanie Elwood, assistant specialist for horticulture at the SU AgCenter.
This is an ideal workshop for aspiring farmers, growers, backyard gardeners, teachers with school gardens, and anyone who wants to learn more about growing.
