SU Ag Center to hold its Annual Spring Garden Workshop on April 22, 2025

Baton Rouge, La. – The Southern University Ag Center will hold its Annual Spring Garden Workshop at 9 a.m. on April 22, 2025, at Maurice A. Edmond Livestock Arena Multi-Purpose Building, located at 14600 Scenic Hwy. in Baton Rouge, La.

This year’s theme is “Thriving on a Small Farm,” featuring the JAGFresh Farmers Market.

Topics covered during the workshop will include:

• Brooding Chicks
• Composting
• Sausage Making and Tasting

The JAGFresh Farmers Market will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
