Baton Rouge, La. – The Southern University Ag Center, in partnership with the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office, is currently hosting a Non-Profit 101 Program Series. The series sessions will be held on May 27, June 3, and June 24, 2026 from 12 p. m. – 1 p.m. at the Valdry Center for Philanthropy on Southern University’s campus.

The sessions are designed to help current and aspiring non-profit leaders better navigate the non-profit formation and management process.

The sessions will be held in hybrid and in-person formats. The presentation portions of the series will be offered in a hybrid format; however, the hands-on lab sessions are held in-person. Participants attending the lab sessions must bring their own laptops or devices, as these interactive sessions will provide direct technical assistance from representatives from the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office.

This is a valuable opportunity to receive guided support while working through the non-profit registration and GeauxBiz processes in real time.

Registration is required for participation. To register visit, https://bit.ly/4n6d5XC.
