This course will provide detailed information about Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), co-management of natural resources of Food Safety, Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule requirements, and a review of the seven module PSA Grower Training curriculum. Anybody who wants to be a produce safety educator and/ or work with fruits and vegetable growers as a PSA Trainer or Lead Trainer should attend this training, which will be held at the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, located at 5825 Florida Blvd., in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The student organizations of the College of Agricultural, Family and Consumer Sciences will host a tailgate on the lawn of Fisher Hall. The event will serve as a recruitment tool to attract students to the College and its student organizations.
