SU Ag Center set to hold 2024 Women’s Health Luncheon

Baton Rouge, La. – The Southern University Ag Center, in partnership with All of Us Research Program, will host a free Women’s Health Luncheon from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on May 29, 2024, at the Jewel J. Newman Community Center, 2013 Central Road in Baton Rouge.

 

The luncheon, themed “Strength In Sisterhood: Supporting Women’s Wellness Together,” is being held in honor of Women’s Health Month. The goal of the luncheon is to encourage everyone to prioritize their health and promote wellness throughout the community.

According to National Today, Women’s Health Month is observed annually in May. The goal of the holiday is to empower women to prioritize their health and equip them with the knowledge to help other women on their journeys.
