Southern University’s MANRRS Chapter hosts Annual Sweet Potato Sale
Baton Rouge, La. – The Southern University chapter of the Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS), a student organization, is currently taking pre-sale orders for its Annual Sweet Potato Sale.
Individuals can purchase a 40-pound box of sweet potatoes for $25, a 12-pound bag for $15, or a 7-pound bag for $10. Payment is required with your order in the form of check, cash app, or online through the Southern University Foundation. Checks should be made payable to the SU Foundation/ MANRRS Chapter. First and last names and the potato option(s) should be included with your payment.
The deadline to place an order is Friday, Oct. 18, 2024.
Orders can be picked up between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. from November 11 – November 13, 2024 at the SU Ag Center’s equipment shed.
