SU Ag Center Set to Host its Fall Garden Workshop

Baton Rouge, La. – The Southern University Ag Center will host its Fall Garden Workshop on November 26th from 9;00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the M. A. Edmond Livestock Arena’s Multipurpose Building, 14600 Scenic Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70807. 

 

This year's workshop is themed "SUmthins Growing" highlighting all things ethnic vegetables that grow in South Louisiana. Attendees will learn how to grow, prepare, and cook these vegetables from master gardeners and hands-on demonstrations. 

 

The Southern University Ag Center, its Wisteria Alliance Program and the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) Program are co-sponsoring this event.
