SU Ag Center's Youth Development Program Leader, Dr. Raquel Ayles, will serve on the Board of Directors for NSBR, a non-profit that aims to ensure that all children in Baton Rouge have access to outstanding schools.

VET Explore 2025 will provide high school and undergraduate college students with hands-on experience and tools needed to become a veterinarian.

Segura will represent ASPA members in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

The Southern University Ag Center will celebrate its 82nd Annual State Livestock and Poultry Show with a slate of events including the Boots and Bling Affair, a Livestock Give Day, and an Educational Ag Expo leading up to the Annual Livestock Show.

The 1890 Center of Excellence for Nutrition, Health, Wellness, and Quality of Life (COE) at the Southern University Ag Center has partnered with the LSU AgCenter and Florida A&M University on the joint project, "On-Farm Food Safety Training for Farm Workers and Underserved Farmers Covering FSMA PSR and GAPs Requirements." The project seeks to enhance food safety training for farm workers and underserved farmers.

Dr. Marshall has been named the Vice Chair of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine Advisory Council where she serves as a member.
