USDA Deputy Secretary Xochit Torres Small visited the Southern University Ag Center and Baton Rouge campus on April 1, 2024.

During Women's History Month, the SU Ag Center is highlighting the work of Milagro Berhane, a Senior Research Associate and Adjunct Professor at the Southern University Ag Center and College of Agricultural, Human and Environmental Sciences.

The free health fair is open to the public and will provide health screenings, physical activities, haircuts, food and music, community resources, and much more.

The small business community, especially minority business enterprises, woman-owned small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, 8(a) certified firms, HUBZone certified firms, and Veteran-Owned (including Service-Disabled Veteran owned) are invited to attend the 19th Annual Connecting Businesses to Contracts: From Local to Global Business Development and Procurement Conference.
