The 2023 Johnson C. Smith University Summer Sustainability Science Camp application is now open

Participants will be introduced to the practice of preserving and canning foods during the hands-on workshop.

The event has been postponed until after Easter.

The 2023 Ag Week on the Bluff, themed Agriculture: Growing A Climate for Tomorrow will be held March 20-25, 2023.

Renita W. Marshall, DVM., Vice Chancellor for Academics and Student Support-Associate Dean at the Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center and the College of Agricultural, Family and Consumer Sciences, has been selected as a recipient of the 2023 Southern University Leading Ladies Award.

Participants will receive free CSA food bags on a first-come, first-served basis and will be able to purchase clothing, jams, jellies, cakes, skincare products, candles, snowballs, and food from SU students, local women farmers, and entrepreneurs during the event.
