The SU College of Ag's Fashion and Business Laboratory (FAB LaB) has partnered with McDonald’s Change of Fashion HBCU Tour to host “Pretty Wednesday SU Homecoming Fab Lab Edition," for Southern University students.

The Southern University Ag Center has published the "Advancing Disaster Education: 1890 Research-Based Curriculums, Lessons and Workshops" which provides emergency preparedness resources for a variety of demographics, including homeless individuals, low-income groups, farmers, youth, families, older adults, and pets, in rural and low-resource regions.
